HOULTON & EAST WINDSOR, NJ — Bonita R. Foster 68, passed away in East Windsor, New Jersey May 13, 2016 to be with her husband Wayne. She was born December 7, 1947 in Houlton, the daughter of Harold S. Jones Sr. and Inez E. (Heatley) Jones.
Bonita was employed at the Maine Glove Factory and at Madigan Estates as a dietary aide for many years. Her loves were playing cards especially with her friend Mary White of NJ, traveling to Canada to play bingo, Facebook games, fill-in puzzles and recently took up crocheting. Bonita loved her church, St. David’s Episcopal Church in Cranbury, NJ.
Bonita is survived by her children, Vicki Goodall and her husband, Thom, of Littleton, Beau Sawyer and his husband, Todd White, of East Windsor, NJ, Heidi Lake and her husband, Mark, of Stacyville; four grandchildren Josh, Duska, Cody and Samantha; five great-grandchildren Joshua, Mia, Aubrey, Riley and Liam; one brother Robert Jones and one sister Gerri Jones both of Houlton; brother-in-law Ralph Knight of Stamping Ground, KY; sister-in-law Gerri Jones of Easton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Gertrude Knight, and her brother, Harold Jones, Jr.
Friends called at noon Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Dunn Funeral Home until the time of the service 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Straubel officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. There will be a reception following the committal at the Littleton United Baptist Church.
