FOR KENNA — The Houlton Jobs for Maine Grads students met at Houlton Elementary School May 12 to present $1,000 to Sarah Estabrook for Kenna’s Care Bags, a program that fills care packages for children battling cancer in memory of Makenna Ward. The funds were raised through the JOY program. Each JMG Career Association receive $1,000 from the Unity Foundation and is charged with finding a local non-profit that works with youth. The money will be used to make bags that will help children that are going through cancer treatment programs.
