HOULTON — Phyllis L. Mulligan passed away May 22, 2016 in her home surrounded by her loving daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters.
Phyllis was born in Newport, RI on September 6, 1927. She moved to Houlton from Nantucket 14 years ago and had made many close friends. She was a very loving woman who touched many lives with her kind and generous soul.
She was predeceased by her loving husband John, daughters Jo and Sandra and son-in-laws Jay Shaw and Jack Ashley.
She will be greatly missed by her many friends and especially her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was exceptionally creative and had interest in many areas including crocheting, sewing, and crafts.
She is survived by a brother, Donald, of Newport, RI and his wife Noreen, daughter Connie and husband, Jim, of Houlton and son John T. Mulligan of Mass.
Per her request, there will be no service. There will be a celebration of her life at a time to be announced.
