The $13.1 million spending plan for RSU 29 passed by a vote of 618 in favor, 189 opposed.
The budget features a $282,653 increase in spending over last year.
However, thanks to a large anticipated carryover balance, coupled with a one-time refund from the Maine Public Employees Retirement System, the actual tax impact next year is a decrease of almost $11,000.
A second referendum question, which asked voters if they wished to continue to two-step process of a district budget meeting followed by a referendum vote for the next three years, passed 540 in favor, 262 opposed.
The vote in RSU 50 was much closer as the $9.6 million budget for the district passed by a vote of 508 in favor and 422 opposed.
Last year, the budget failed numerous times at the polls.
The spending plan is up $140,766 (1.49 percent) from last year. The district will receive $4,890,664 from the state, which is an increase of $17,632.
However, in order to receive those state funds, the district must contribute the required local share in the amount of $2,551,448, which is an increase of $52,165.
A second referendum question, which asked voters if they wished to continue with the two-step validation process, passed 543 in favor and 371 opposed.
