The Island Falls Senior Citizens held our first meeting of July at the municipal building on July 7 with 13 members and two luncheon guests in attendance. Everyone enjoyed a variety of dishes in the potluck as well as three pies.
After lunch, the business meeting was opened with the Lord’s Prayer and flag salute, followed by the secretary’s and treasurer’s reports, respectively. We discussed our new policies, and found them agreeable to everyone.
After adjournment. we played the Bag Game with nine members participating.
Members present were Jeanne Clements, Ellie Peck, Rich Camire, Louise Butcher, Darrel and Sherry Hartin, Donna Baker, Mary Pipes, Edith Dwyer, Mary Lawler, Gloria Noyes, Ruth Frazier and Terry Dwyer.
The next meeting will fall on July 21, and we will play Bingo. The potluck luncheon will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m.
The group always welcomes guests or new members.
