HOULTON — Janet Lynn Henderson, 52, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 23, 2016. She was born November 11, 1963, the daughter of the late Gordon Henderson and Jeannie (Eugenia) Henderson.
Janet was an employee of Andy’s IGA in Houlton for 28 years, where she met many lifelong friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; especially vacations to Georgia, fun filled day trips and gatherings. She will be sadly missed by many.
Janet is survived by her mother Jeannie of Houlton; her only child Leanne Henderson Corey and her husband Ryan of Georgia; two special grandchildren who she adored Rylee and Tyler; two brothers Gary Henderson and his wife Val of Amity, Richard Henderson of Florida; three nieces Stephanie Cote of Massachusetts, Vicki Doughty and her husband Michael of Hodgdon, their children Derek, Alan, Kayla, Jacob and great-great nephew Lucas, Michelle Henderson of Houlton, her children Emma and Hayden; a nephew Eric Reardon of Blaine; her dog Zoey who was like her second child and her cat Skeeter; special friend Melissa Mills of Monticello; many cousins as well as many friends. She was predeceased by her father Gordon and her sister Carol Henderson.
Friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home Thursday, July 28, 2016 1 p.m. until the time of the service 2 p.m. with Rev. Randall Burns officiating. Interment will be in the Henderson Cemetery.
