The weekly meeting of TOPS took place July 29, 2016 at the Aldergate Building on Kelleran Street in Houlton.
There were 15 TOPS members and two KOPS members present. The loser of the week was Joyce Estey and the runner-up was Marsha Reed. Denise Clark won the skinny dish.
Installation of officers will take place next week on Friday, Aug. 5. The 0233 group will then enjoy a picnic at Janette Nelson’s camp.
Charms were given out.
Opal Adams gave the program and read a poem written about a “pound of fat that loves to hang around.” She gave tips including planning ahead by making healthy choices and not skipping meals. Ten true-or-false questions were asked about salt, and members learned how many foods have added salt.
