With summer in full swing the Island Falls Senior Citizens had our first August meeting with only 11 members present.
Our potluck luncheon included salads, cold cuts, hot dogs and desserts. Rich Camire entertained after lunch.
Our meeting was opened with the Lord’s Prayer and flag salute, and secretary and treasurer reports were given. As there was minimal business to be transacted, we adjourned and played the “bag game.”
Members present were Dick Sheen, Ellie Peck, Jeanne Clements, Mary Pipes, Gloria Noyes, Mary Lawler, Edith Dwyer, Donna Baker, Terry Dwyer, Rich Camire and Louise Butcher.
Our next meeting will fall on Aug. 18, and we will play Bingo. All seniors are invited and encouraged to attend.
