On Aug. 17, The Happy Losers, a weight group in Island Falls, held their weekly meeting. Jackie Pratt, the leader, opened the meeting and welcomed members, followed by the pledge and roll call.
Twelve members weighed in and 10 attended the meeting. The person who lost the most weight for the week was Brenda Raymond, and Ann Morse was the runner-up. Great job, ladies.
Reports were given by the secretary and treasurer for the week.
There was no program for the week. Members all voted on the new rules.
All are welcome to the group, which meets every Wednesday at the United Baptist Church vestry in Island Falls, with weigh-ins from 8-8:30 a.m. The meeting usually starts at 8:30.
