The Purple Hat ladies met on Nov. 8 at The Pit Stop in Littleton to enjoy a delicious meal and make plans for their Christmas meeting at the Smyrna Merrill Historical Society in Smyrna on Dec. 13 at the usual time.
Members are to bring something for the animal shelter wrapped in newspaper.
Wannetta Townsend asked the blessing for the meal. The monthly drawing was conducted.
