On Dec. 14, the weight group called The Happy Losers held their weekly meeting at the United Baptist Church vestry in Island Falls.
Jackie Pratt, the leader, opened the meeting and welcomed members, followed by the pledge and roll call. Twelve members weighed in and 10 attended the meeting.
Joan Sides was the loser of the week, and Riva Hawkes was the runner-up. Great job, ladies.
Reports were given by the secretary and treasurer.
There was no program for the week. The Christmas party was held at Brookside Restaurant in Smyrna. Everyone enjoyed the presents and the food.
