The only game slated for Tuesday (today) is the Greater Houlton Christian Academy boys at Ashland starting at 5 p.m.
The following is a recap of boys’ games played Monday.
East Grand 46, Wisdom 66 — At St. Agatha Monday, Philip Farley scored 15 points for the Vikings in the loss.
Wisdom’s Kodey Cyr led all players with 25 points, while Jack Guerrette netted 20 points and Adam Pelletier added 17.
The two squads were tied at 11-11 at the end of the first quarter, but Wisdom took a 33-20 lead into the locker room at halftime. The Pioneers led 48-34 after three periods.
Bangor Christian 58, Katahdin 39 — At Stacyville Monday, Katahdin’s Brody Guiggey had 10 points and 12 rebounds, but it was not enough against the visiting Patriots. Hunter Craig added nine points and John McNally had eight for the Cougars.
For the Patriots, Dean Grass led all scorers with 12 points, while Jon Cormier contributed nine and Josh Palmeter and Christian Boone each had eight.
Bangor Christian led 16-8, 26-15 and 46-24 at the quarter breaks.
Central 54, Houlton 45 — At Houlton Monday, the Shires fell to Central for their second-straight loss. Individual results were not reported.
Easton 56, Hodgdon 57 — At Hodgdon Monday, Easton rallied from a nine-point halftime deficit with a strong fourth quarter, but it was not enough to overtake the Hawks. Hodgdon senior Daden Palmer sank a foul shot with two seconds remaining to give his team the one-point win.
Palmer finished with 23 points for the Hawks, while Kevin McAfee added 14.
Jordan White had 20 points for Easton (7-5), while Jake Flewelling scored 18.
The Hawks led 12-4, 24-15 and 44-36 at the quarter breaks.
In girls’ basketball action, results were:
East Grand 53, Wisdom 18 — At St. Agatha Monday, the Vikings rolled to the lopsided win over Wisdom. Individual results were not reported.
Easton 18, Hodgdon 26 — At Hodgdon Monday, Janelle Goff scored a game-high nine points and Kora Lambert grabbed 18 rebounds to go with her six points as Hodgdon beat Easton. Taylor Desrosiers added seven points for the Hawks.
Elise Allen’s six points paced Easton, while Isabelle Morin and Sara Gilman both had five.
Hodgdon led 13-7, 18-7 and 18-12 at the quarter breaks.
Central 38, Houlton 53 — At Houlton Monday, the Shires played one of their better all-around games to beat Central (8-2). Kolleen Bouchard scored 21 points, grabbed seven rebounds, had seven blocks and five assists to lead the Shires.
Rylee Warman contributed eight points for Houlton, while Aspen Flewelling and Mikayla Fitzpatrick both had six.
Abigail Allen led Central with 11 points. Libby Cook had nine, and Emma Campbell scored eight.
Houlton led 8-6, 25-16 and 46-28 at the quarter breaks.
Bangor Christian 25, Katahdin 68 — At Stacyville Monday, Cougar Georgia Landry led all players with 28 points as Katahdin cruised past BC. Natalie Rickards added 18 and 11 rebounds for Katahdin, while Haley Landry added 12 points.
Morgan Hobert led Bangor Christian with 9 points.
Fort Fairfield 27, Southern Aroostook 57 — At Dyer Brook Monday, SACS’ Sydney Brewer led Southern Aroostook with 17 points as the Warriors improved to 9-0 on the year. Kacy Daggett and Katelyn Slauenwhite both added 11 points for Southern Aroostook.
Fort Fairfield was paced by Emma Campbell’s 10 points.
SACS led 14-4, 32-14, 42-22 at the quarter breaks.
