It’s time for children to spell check their Christmas lists in time for Santa’s arrival in Caribou on Friday, Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. The jolly old elf himself will be on hand during the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree at Family Chiropractic on High Street. The tree will be lit by Corey Michaud, 10, of Caribou, who won a contest sponsored by the Caribou Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on where to place the holiday decorations.
Children attending the lighting and Santa’s arrival may sign up to win one of three prizes. Pictures with Santa also will be taken, following the tree’s lighting, at the Caribou Fire Station across the street.
