Walking hours
    The Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center is open for walkers from Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m.
    Please note that street shoes are not allowed on the walking track. Pitch, hit and run
    There will be a pitch, hit and run competition on May 17 at the Caribou Little League Field. This competition will run from 10 a.m. to noon, and is for children ages 7 to 14 as of July 17, 2008. For additional information, or to register, please call 493-4224.
Adult volleyball
    Thursday, May 15 will be the last night for adult volleyball  for the spring season.
    The group meets from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Caribou Recreation Center.
Go girls
    This program is for girls in grades six to eight and meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5 p.m. beginning May 5.         This is a group where girls can express themselves, learn new skills and have fun. For more information, call 493-4224.
13-16 baseball
    Application forms are now available for the Caribou Park and Recreation Department’s 13- to 16-year-old summer baseball program.
    All players must register to be eligible to play. First year players must provide a copy of their birth certificate.
    There is a $15 registration fee. The deadline is May 23.
