CARIBOU – Caribou boys’ track and field used their speed, strength and skill to take first place in their first home meet of the season on Saturday.

“The boys had a very good day,” said coach Roy Alden.
Brewer came in second place followed by Presque Isle, Old Town, Fort Kent, Penquis, Fort Fairfield and Limestone.
Viking Spencer McElwain participated in some particularly exciting races as he swapped places with Presque Isle’s top distance runner Corey Park. Park just beat Spencer in the 800-meter and McElwain pulled ahead in the 1,600-meter.
Brewer took first in the girls’ meet followed by Caribou, Old Town, Presque Isle, Fort Kent, Fort Fairfield, Penuis and Limestone.
