Thursday, May 1
2:30 a.m. Belanger Road — Animal Complaint — Caller reported dogs or coyotes had gotten into a domestic deer pen on their property.     Action — Officers caught one of the dogs but others took off. Captured canine will be taken to the Caribou Pet Rescue and caller was advised that if the other dog returned and if it were outside the fence to call police again. Officers also told caller if it got inside the fence and was doing harm to their deer they should take whatever action they needed to make it cease and also call police station.
1:47 p.m. Washburn Street — Motor Vehicle Complaint — Caller advised police of two vehicles parked in the handicap parking spaces in front of a local business.
    Action — Officer will check on the vehicles.
1:55 p.m. South Main Street — Public Assistance — A male caller requested police locate his ex-wife  and advise her he wanted his vehicle and keys to an apartment returned, stating he had not seen her in three weeks. Caller advised while she was spending time with him she had been allowed to use the vehicle.
    Action — Officer located subject and she contacted her ex.
6:45 p.m. Access Highway — Disorderly Conduct — Caller requested an officer’s presence as another tenant was harassing her daughter and is now banging on her apartment door.
    Action — Officer advised subject not to engage in verbal altercations with the other tenants.
8:07 p.m. Water Street — Criminal Mischief — Individuals reported being on Water Street and could hear someone throwing rocks at a building at the end of the street, advising of juveniles being in the back of the building throwing rocks, breaking the windows.
    Action — Windows were broken out when officer arrived but no one was in the area.
Friday, May 2
12:35 p.m. Van Buren Road — Pubic Assistance — Caller would like an officer to stand by while she gets her belonging out of a residence.
    Action — Officer will stand by and keep the peace.
Saturday, May 3
12:44 p.m. Pleasant Street — Noise Complaints — Caller advised people in a nearby apartment were partying again and the noise goes on constantly until 3 a.m. and wants it to cease.
    Action — Officer checked apartment and did hear loud music. When the door was opened, a strong odor of marijuana was present. Five subjects were at the location and were advised the music/noise had to cease and one male subject was charged with possession of marijuana and another arrested on a warrant.
1:57 a.m. Carroll Street — Alarm — Police were informed of an alarm in a warehouse going off.
    Action — Alarm company called back reporting they had made contact with key holder and they would not be responding unless a problem was determined. Officers found all the big doors left open and a small screen door was propped open. Officer called alarm company and advised officers were leaving the building the way it was found and they could let the key holder know if they wanted to come and close the doors; would be hard to imagine someone breaking in and leaving all the doors open.
8:18 a.m. Hilltop School — Theft — Police were informed someone had entered the Hilltop School through a window. The building was being checked for damage and theft of items. It was believed    subjects left through a door.
    Action — Police determined entry was made through the window in the staff room, located on the back of the building. Suspect(s) made themselves some popcorn and brewed a pot of coffee, then cleaned up after themselves and threw all the garbage in the tartan which was taken for evidence. Police found evidence of blood in the bathroom sink, as though suspect(s) had cut themselves, they also located a paper towel with blood on it also taken for evidence. Appeared that individuals entered through the same window, putting the screen and window back in place. Coffee was spilled as cups were set down on another window ledge. Photos were taken of scene. Only damage was to window brackets.
6:07 p.m. Access Highway — Theft — Caller  reported a male left a local business without paying.
    Action — Officer spoke with caller who advised the male subject owed payment on April 19-May 3 lodging. Officer advised that this is a theft of services and they would try to help. Police spoke with caller later who advised that subject had paid some of the debt and had arranged an agreement for the rest of the amount. Officer informed it was now a civil issue.
1:40 a.m. Skyway Plaza — Disorderly Conduct — Police received an anonymous complaint regarding two individuals in a vehicle near a local business, engaged in inappropriate behavior. Caller requested police tell the two to get a room.    
    Action — Officer spoke with vehicle occupants, informing them of the complaint and advised them to take it somewhere else other than a public location. Male subject was later arrested for operating under the influence.
Sunday, May  4
10:55 Washburn Street — Noise — Male caller reported reefer units running all night across the street at a local business. Caller was advised to speak to the owner about resolving the problem. Caller reported again that he had spoken with the owner who agreed to correct the problem, but the vehicles were still running in the same location. Caller noted his family couldn’t sleep due to the continuous noise.
    Action — Officer spoke with owner about the vehicle/noise complaint; owner will park the tractor trailers in a different area to see it that helped.
Monday, May  5
8:48 a.m. Scenic Drive — Suspicious Activity — Police received reports of damage done to a pool, owner thinks it was done by someone kicking at it. She reported the damage to her insurance agent, who was going to have an investigator come check. Damage may have been done by heavy snowfall.
    Action — Cause of damage was unknown, police will wait for insurance investigation results.
Tuesday, May 6
10:35 a.m. Presque Isle/Caribou Road — Suspicious Activity — Caller reported while he was driving by a residence he saw a subject crawling through a window on the left hand side of the building facing the road.
    Action — Officer checked the area and found that an individual had locked himself out and was gaining reentry via the window. Everything was OK.
5:26 p.m. Midland Street — Criminal Mischief — A male caller requested an officer at a residence he owned on Midland Street in reference to some damage that had been done there.
    Action — Officer spoke with another individual who stated having seen two male subjects on the property. Officer determined the entrance door was forced open, an old wood stove that was outside had been carried upstairs, placed in the bedroom and empty beer containers were in the refrigerator. The television had been turned on its side, the microwave turned upside down and the living room was full of old car tires. Most damage was came from forcing the door open and the bedroom door had split from being forced open.
