PRESQUE ISLE – Serve it, pass it and spike it! Youth interested in learning about and working on their volleyball skills are invited to participate in a summer volleyball camp July 7-11 at Presque Isle High School. The clinic will focus on improving basic skills that lead to successful playing. Students will learn about and practice serving, passing, spiking and blocking. Instructors will also give individual help. Skills will be tested in actual games during the week. The camp will be led by Harriet Huntley, a former volleyball player and coach for the University of Maine at Presque Isle volleyball team.
Cost of the clinic is $120 with $60 due at the time of registration with the rest due on the first day of the clinic. Registration on July 7 begins at 8:30 a.m. with the camp day running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day.
