Dr. says good-bye

To the editor:
    I wish to say goodbye to the many patients and friends that I have come to know over the last three years. Thank you for your warm welcome. It has been a privilege to provide service to your community and to share in the lives of many respected colleagues, patients and friends. I have enjoyed living in this beautiful and unique area.     I wish you good health and happiness. And that wish makes me think of a very old quote, by Epicurus: “It is not possible to live happily if one does not lead a beautiful, righteous and wise life, or to lead a beautiful, righteous and wise life if one is not happy.” May we all continue to strive for this.
