Woodland holds graduation

    The Woodland Consolidated School held its 56th graduation exercises on Wednesday, June 11.

    The graduating class marched into the gymnasium with “Pomp and Circumstance” being played by the Woodland Concert Band.
    Class Salutatorian, Marigan Doody, gave the welcome, while the class history was read by Dylan Cyr.
     Morgan Swan and Colby Conroy gave class prophecy.  Marcella Cheviot and Darius Haskell followed with the class will.
    The valedictorian, Sarah Plourde, gave the farewell.
    Class Marshall Dann Cyr led the class into the gymnasium.
    Students receiving plaques for highest average in subject areas were Colby Conroy, English; Darius Haskell, mathematics; Sarah Plourde, science; and Marigan Doody, history.
    Morgan Swan received the Secretary of State Citizenship Award.
    The Class Motto was “Today We Follow—Tomorrow We Lead.”
    Members of the 2008 graduating class were Jacob Anderson, Bruce Brayall, Cody Carmichael, Marcella Cheviot, Colby Conroy, Dann Cyr, Dylan Cyr, Marigan Doody, Cassandra Felix, Christian Glidewell, Darius Haskell, Colby Johnson, Angelica Jordan, Joshua Kovach, Sarah Plourde, Bernard Skidgel, and Morgan Swan.
