VFW Ladies Auxiliary donates to Maine Veterans’ Home

    The Department of Maine VFW Ladies Auxiliary recently donated $100 to the Maine Veterans’ Home in Caribou. Jeannette Stairs, right, liaison for the VFW presented the donation to Rita Worley, activities director at the Maine Veterans’ Home. The staff and the residents are grateful to the many organizations that donate to the establishment, assisting with daily enjoyable activities, including special outings and bus rides.
