Premier League (Grades 3 and 4)
Revolution 4, Rapids 1

    Leading the scoring for the Revolution was Josiah Krul with two goals in the first half. Second-half scoring was provided by Alec Cyr and Madison Doucette. Megan Thorton showed great hustle on the field, while Caleb Trombley and Kara Madore were outstanding defensively.      The Rapids’ only goal was scored by Noah Frost. Hope Shea and Nick Sleeper played strong defense and stopped the very strong Revolution offense many times. Nick Pelletier played great in goal.
Rapids 7, Metrostars 3
    The Rapids came out ready to play as they pounded the goal, scoring seven times. “Red Hot” Nick Sleeper scored five times with assists coming from Anya O’Meara, Noah Frost, Jenna Boucher and Hope Shea. Emerson Duplissie-Cyr also found the back of the net twice. It was a total team effort defensively to hang onto the win.
    The Metrostars’ Garrison Doody had multiple shots on goal. Dawson Hebert, Austin Brown and Hunter Jackson also had shots with Jackson scoring the only goal for the Metrostars in the half. In the second half, Daniel Randolph and Brown each scored a goal with Hebert and Seth Beidelman each making strong attempts to find the net.
    Doody, Hebert, Randolph, Brown and Kristen Sarmiento played the Rapids’ strong in trying to keep the ball at the opposite end of the field. Brown and Zach Whitten each provided saves in goal for the Metrostars. Both teams played well with some well-executed passes and strong ball handling on both sides.
Revolution 4, Galaxy 0
    The Revolution had a great match up against Galaxy with no score at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, Kerrigan Manter scored her first goal of the season off an assist from Josiah Krul. Krul then went on to score two more goals in that quarter. Connor Plourde also had an outstanding save in goal.
    In the third quarter, Megan Thornton and Alec Cyr both had great shots on goal but couldn’t find the back of the net. In the fourth quarter, Chrissy Skidgel was outstanding defensively and Plourde scored the Revolution’s fourth and final goal of the game.
    The Revolution showed outstanding team play with great spacing and passing to hand the Galaxy its first loss of the season. Despite good offensive pressure by Zoe Gerakaris, Ashley Matlock, Brandon Morgan, Camden Huck and Kyle Soetaert-Beaulier, the Galaxy couldn’t find the back of the net. Defensively, the Galaxy made the Revolution work hard for their goals behind great work by Noah Heidorn, Kirsten Haney and Paige O’bar.
Revolution 4, Fire 2
    Scoring for the Revolution in the first half were Josiah Krul, Cameron Doody and Connor Plourde. All three players showed outstanding ball control on the field. Kerrigan Manter scored a single goal in the second half for the Revolution on a perfectly-placed throw in by Connor Plourde. Danielle Hanson and Cameron Langille both showed great hustle on offense, each taking a shot on goal. Madison Doucette provided great defense.  
    The Fire found the net twice in the second half with Bailey Griffeth and Brandon Manter each scoring.  Rachel Davis and Dylan Bonville played great in controlling the middle of the field. Gabrielle Marquis was awesome in goal.
Galaxy 2, Metrostars 1
    It was a fantastic game overall by the Galaxy against a tough Metrostar team. The Galaxy showed tremendous improvement in their offensive passing and spacing on the field with Camden Huck and Kyle Soetart-Beaulier making on the mark passes all night. Noah Heidorn and Ashley Matlock played tremendous soccer on both the offensive and defensive sides of the field. Both players added goals in the first half to add to their yearly totals. Paige O’bar, Zoe Gerakaris and Cole Jackson played stifling defense turning away almost every opportunity by the Metrostars. Brandon Morgan turned in a scoreless fourth quarter in net for the Galaxy.
    The Metrostars’ Garrison Doody scored the team’s only goal in the first half with Evan Desmond taking the only clean shot on goal. Austin Brown, Seth Beidelman and Daniel Randolph provided strong ball handling at both ends of the field. Hunter Jackson and Desmond each had saves in goal to stop Galaxy. Beidelman, Meagan Dube and Kristen Sarmiento helped the defense keep the Galaxy at bay. It was a well-matched game with the Galaxy playing a very good passing game.
Revolution 6, Galaxy 1

    It was a great team effort by the Galaxy, however, the squad was unable to stop the high-powered Revolution team. Kyle Soetart-Beaulier notched another goal to his season total off of a great assist from Zoe Gerakaris in the first half. Noah Heidorn, Camden Huck, Cole Jackson, Ashley Matlock, Paige O’bar, Kirsten Haney and Brandon Morgan did their best and played great improved team defense but weren’t able to slow down the Revolution enough.
    Josiah Krul started the Revolution off with a first-quarter goal. Connor Plourde followed with two goals in the first half and Cameron Doody netted one. Alec Cyr showed outstanding hustle and made some key passes to help Revolution score. In the second half, Krul found the back of the net two more times to complete his hat trick. Christina Skidgel and Cyr both debuted in goal and had some great saves. In the second half, Kara Madore made some perfect crosses in front of the goal where her teammates Megan Thorton and Danielle Hanson both tried to connect to score.     
World League (Grades 5 and 6)
West Ham United 2, Chelsea 0

    Michael Hunter scored two second-half goals to lead West Ham United to a 2-0 victory. Nick Frost, Abby Theriault, and Maggie Cyr also had scoring opportunities for West Ham. Morgan Outing, Hillary Jalbert, Danica Walker and Chelsea Haney were outstanding on defense while Erin Patton, as a first-time goal keeper, helped preserve the shutout with several saves in the second half.
Chelsea 0, Manchester United 0
    Chelsea and Manchester United were matched up evenly Wednesday night as the game ended in a scoreless tie. Both team played outstanding. All the players on both teams fought to the final seconds. Chelsea’s Michael Marquis, Paul Hanson and Katie Pelletier all had great shots on goal but could not get the ball past Manchester United’s goalie Donovan Savage.
    For the Chelsea team, Trevonte Caudill was outstanding in goal as well, stopping many attempts from Donovan Savage and Ben Ezzy.
