Members of the Woodland Extension met recently at the home of Theresa Andrews. Following the reading of the Homemaker’s Creed, the secretary and treasurer’s reports were given and the cash fund and pennies for caring were collected. Extension members also signed a card for an ill member. Food items had been brought in by extension members in order to provide a Thanksgiving Basket the group will be delivering to a designated family. A Christmas Basket will also be completed by the club members.
Extension members in attendance also worked on photograph and scrapbooks, bringing them up-to-date.
A lunch was served by hostess, Theresa Andrews. It was also announced that the Woodland Extension Christmas Party would be held Tuesday, Dec.16, with the location to be announced.
Attending the Nov.18 meeting were: Elizabeth Cochran, Janet Ketch, Elizabeth Beaulieu, Theresa Andrews, Priscilla Neilander, Norma Bondeson, Dodie Olmstead and guest Diane Cross.
