Small Steps to begin winter registration
Small Steps Dance is accepting registrations for its winter dance session, which begins Jan. 4, 2009 at the Caribou Recreation Department. Register through the web site www.smallsteps-dance.com or by calling 551-2050.
Caribou Middle School boys defeat Fort Fairfield, Houlton
The Vikings opened their season with a 38-28 win over the Tigers on Monday, Dec. 1. Kaleb Corriveau led the Vikings’ scorers with 16 points. Brandon Donovan followed with eight points. Defensive leaders were Cody Wilcox, David Pelkey, and Aaron Trefethen.
On Tuesday, Dec. 2, Caribou moved to 2-0 on the season with a convincing 45-26 win over Houlton. Brandon Donovan led the scoring with 14 points while Kaleb Corriveau added 12 points. Playing well defensively were Nick Matlock, Taylor Dobson and Devin Berkoski. Good rebounding efforts were put in by Grant Bennett and Dustin MacDougal.
