WEST HARTFORD – Augustine Patrick St. Pierre, 68, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Limestone, ME, the son of the late Leonard and Eva (Daigle) St. Pierre, he made his home in West Hartford since 1994, moving from New Haven. Augustine worked in the construction and maintenance industry for many companies including the Connecticut Savings Bank. He loved photography and traveling to upstate New York and Vermont.
Augustine is survived by his companion of 30 years, Evelyn Kleid; his four children, Joseph St. Pierre of Townsend, VT, Jon St. Pierre of Suffield, Eva St. Pierre of Derby, Heidi St. Pierre of Ansonia; two brothers and a sister, Gregory St. Pierre and his wife Rose of Plainville, Ted St. Pierre and his wife Sallie of Woodland, ME, Cecilia Ann Chapman and her husband Jeff of New Sweden, ME; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by Esther Kleid and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Patrick.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Francis Hospital and West Hartford Health and Rehab for their loving care.
