CARIBOU — The Northern Maine Pageant 2010 was held on Saturday, May 22, at the Caribou Inn and Convention Center. A total of 22 contestants competed for several titles and crowns. Contestants competed in an opening number and several categories including: modeling, photogenic, talent, evening gown and onstage interview questions.
Six young ladies took home titles, after competing in the Northern Maine Pageant 2010, held in Caribou on May 22. Pictured, from left, are: Megan Byers from Presque Isle, named Miss Teen Northern Maine; Kaci Bates from Presque Isle, who was selected as Miss Northern Aroostook Pre-Teen; Casey Bonville from Presque Isle (the tall queen in back) won the title Miss Northern Maine; the small queen in the front is Jorja Bugbee from Caribou, who won the Miss Petite Northern Maine crown; Victoria Williamson from Presque Isle, was named Miss Junior Pre-teen Northern Maine; and Tiffany Sweet from Howland won the Ms. Northern Maine title.
Competing for Miss Petite Northern Maine in the petite division were: Aubrey LeClair, Madawaska; Delaini Huston, Presque Isle; Maddison Coffin, Mars Hill; and Jorja Bugbee, Caribou. Bugbee won in her division.
Miss Junior Pre-Teen Northern Maine contestants included: Emily Plourde, Fort Kent; Bethany Millette, Limestone; Delaney St. Pierre, Fort Fairfield; Makayla Shackett, Perham; Victoria Williamson, Presque Isle; Desiree Belanger , Madawaska; Emily Poitras, Presque Isle; Macey Coffin, Mars Hill; Emma Postell, Presque Isle; MacKenna Smith, Caribou; and Kaci Bates, Presque Isle. Williamson won the crown in this category.
Contestants for the title of Miss Teen Northern Maine included: Courtney Milliard, Blaine; Barbara Bonville, Presque Isle; Megan Byers, Presque Isle; and Emily Brawn, Presque Isle. Byers was selected to reign in this class.
In the Miss Northern Maine division, Casey Bonville, of Presque Isle, was unchallenged for this category, taking home the title and crown.
Tiffany Sweet, of Howland, was also unchallenged and was named Ms. Northern Maine.
Kaci Bates took home the title of Miss Northern Aroostook Pre-Teen.
