Irene O. Lazure, 91, wife of the late Larry Lazure, died May 31, 2010, at Langdon Hall, her home in Bradenton, Florida, after a brief illness. She was born September 9, 1918, in Caribou, the daughter of Alex and Odile (Castonguay) Plourde.
Irene lived in Hartford, Connecticut, for many years and was employed by the U.S. Envelope Company before retiring to Bradenton. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her home and was a communicant at the Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Sarasota.
She is survived by her brother, Clarence Plourde of Caribou and sisters, Bernice Plourde and Leola Taylor of Bradenton. She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Plourde of Bradenton and brothers, Clifford and Emery Plourde of Caribou.
