CARIBOU — Officers of the Caribou Police Department arrested a Caribou man who allegedly burglarized Fredrick’s South Side restaurant in Caribou on August 14.

William Colley, 52, of Caribou is charged with burglary, criminal mischief and theft after breaking into the restaurant and stealing $35 from the cash register, causing an estimated $2,500 in damages in the process.

The police department was assisted with the apprehension by the public after publicized video footage of the break-in resulted in an influx of information, which was used by Police Officers Doug Bell and Mark Gahagan in identifying, locating and arresting Colley at his residence.
