BANGOR — The Caribou boys and girls swim team ran into another formidable opponent on the season Tuesday, Dec. 28 when the Vikings journeyed to the Bangor YMCA to take on John Bapst. The Caribou boys fell 110-8, while the Vikings girls lost 136-17.
The individual Viking boys results — with times only — were:
50 freestyle — Darren Newbegin, 28.95; and Tom McLean, 34.52.
100 free — Newbegin, 1:06.43; and McLean, 1:19.70.
The individual Viking girls results were:
50 free — 3, Rilee Elliott, 30.66.
100 butterfly — 3, Rachel Wasson, 1:36.24.
100 free — 4, Cintamini Johnson, 1:10.38.
500 free — 2, Elliott, 7:27.29; and 3, Wasson, 8:11.07.
100 breaststroke — 3, Johnson, 1:42.48.
