Sweet Petunia is certainly not lonely residing with the 26 other felines at Halfway Home Pet Rescue (HHPR). Petunia is leukemia/AIDS tested negative, spayed and has had all shots, revolution treatment and cleared of any parasites. With all this medical care her adoption fee is still only $50. She gets along fine with other cats, we don’t know about dogs, but she does appear to have a high level of confidence. She is good with kids and she loves to eat. Petunia is hoping her true Valentine Love will appear this week. Perhaps even this weekend at the Tractor Supply Store Valentine Weekend Cat/Kitten Adoption Fair on Saturday, Feb. 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, Feb. 13, from 1 to 4 p.m. Pinky, the clown, will be on hand with his animal balloons.). There will be a sale table of hot dog, chips, soda for $1 on Saturday from 11a.m. to 2 p.m., door prizes, treats for the kids, a collectible doll sale table with prices from 6-$15. A White Elephant Table of secondhand items on sale from 1- $4. There will also be a 50/50 cash drawing. HHPR is a Maine licensed animal shelter and a 501c3 tax-exempt organization.
