Bernice Jalbert, 81, of Cromwell, Conn. passed away on Monday, March 28, 2011, at Middlesex Hospital. She was the widow of Norman Jalbert.
Born in Caribou, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Viola (Johnson) Adamson. Bernice has been a Cromwell resident for the past seven years, formerly residing in Caribou. She was a very active member of Hilltop Covenant Church in Cromwell. Bernice enjoyed quilting, sewing and many crafts.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann Marie and David Pettinicchi of Prospect, and her granddaughter Nicole Pettinicchi of Waterbury.
Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, New Britain is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Benevolent Care Fund at Covenant Village of Cromwell, 52 Missionary Rd., Cromwell, CT 06416.
