CARIBOU – Arthelena Mary Greenier, 85, died December 19, 2011, at Van Buren. She was born at Caswell, July 9, 1926, the daughter of Patrick and Emily (Ayotte) Greenier.
She was educated in the Caswell and Limestone school systems. Arthelena “Sis” spent many years on her dad’s farm in Caswell. At the age of 36, she left and went to work at a hospital in food preparation in Manchester, CT, retiring in 1988 and moved back to Caribou. Sis was a very loving and generous aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
She is survived by three sisters, Bernice Curry of Saco, Amy McGlinn of Presque Isle and Margaret Lewis of Salisbury, MD. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Regina Turcotte.
Memorial services will be held in the spring from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home and will be announced in the Bangor Daily News.
