The American Red Cross, Northern New England Blood Services Region will hold blood drives in cities and towns throughout Maine. All eligible and new blood donors are encouraged to give blood.
Donors are needed every day to make sure there is an adequate blood supply for patients in need. One blood donation may help save up to three lives.
June is Adventure Month. As a thank you for their life-saving donation this month, all presenting donors will receive a coupon for a free day pass to a Maine State Park, a chance to win a kayak from Old Town Canoe and a bike from L.L. Bean. Coupons are not redeemable for cash and non-transferable.
Donors are encouraged to call 1-800 RED CROSS or visit online at redcrossblood.org to make an appointment or for more information.
