To the editor:
The Perkins Plourde American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 136 of Stockholm officially kicked off our building renovation project with the lunch we served plus a bake sale at the craft fair held at the Legion on November 17th and 18th.
The event was a great success and we’d like to thank our members who baked, the ladies who cooked and worked the kitchen but most importantly we want to thank the people who came to support our cause. Your purchases of the meal and sweets made our first fundraiser the success that it was.
We hope to see you at our upcoming show on Friday, Dec. 14, where the fine cooks of the Ladies Auxiliary will provide Christmas sweets for you to enjoy along with the show.
