CARIBOU – Walter A. “ Pete” St. Peter Jr. 68, passed away following sudden illness on February 17, 2013, at Caribou.
Pete is survived by his wife of 49 years, Irene (Gauvin). They were married in Caribou on October 26th, 1963. Together they had four wonderful children, nine awesome grandchildren and four amazing great-grandchildren. His children are, Faith Perry and her husband, Edward, along with their children, Jamie Perry Ireland, Mark Perry, Katie Perry and her fiancé, Josh, and grandchildren, Ethan, Willow, and Kyrie; TerryLee Pelletier and her husband, Chuck, along with their children, Sara, Audrey, Isaiah & Emmanuel Pelletier; Victor St. Peter; Kelly St. Peter, and companion, Shawn Beaulieu, along with her children, Wynonna Lacroix and Jayson James Lacroix and her grandson, Issac.
Pete had a love for the outdoors. He and Irene enjoyed traveling to the coast of Maine with their family and exploring all it had to offer. Pete would love to tell stories to anyone who would listen. When he was not out “playing” in the dirt he would spend time over to Phil St. Peter’s, tinkering on his equipment. Pete was a very loving and compassionate husband, father and friend. He will be greatly missed.
Pete is also survived by his sisters, Gail LaPointe and her companion, Gary Thompson, Lisa (St. Peter) Grindle and her husband, Jim; his sister-in-law, Theresa Thibodeau; and his brother, Joseph St. Peter. He is also predeceased by his parents, Walter and Lillian (Lewis) St. Peter; brother, Erwin St. Peter; and sister, Joanna St. Peter.
In honor of Pete’s wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Friends of Acadia, P.O. Box 45, Bar Harbor, Maine 04609 in Walter “Pete” St. Peter’s name would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements by the Mockler Funeral Home Caribou.
