STOCKHOLM — Seven of the 10 volunteer firefighters of the Stockholm Fire Department were in attendance at a pot roast dinner held in their honor on Jan. 25 at the American Legion Post No. 136 of Stockholm.
Brenda Jepson began the evening by singing “The Star Spangled Banner.” Ladies Auxiliary President Kathy Robinson then performed a few firemen jokes, followed by singer Juanita Goetz, who led the crowd in several sing-alongs.
Each honoree was presented with a certificate from Post Commander Herman Fisher, and Stockholm’s Joe Thibodeau was named Fireman of the Year.
