Stephens recipient of scholarship

    Kendra Stephens of Woodland is a recipient of a $1,500 college scholarship awarded at Bangor Air National Guard Base. Bangor ANGB is one of over 250 commissaries operated worldwide by the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). Kendra’s parents are Jamie Stephens and Katherine Martin-Stephens. Kendra is enrolled or plans to enroll at the University of Maine. Kendra’s school and community activities include cross country skiing; soccer; track; National Honor Society and Church children’s choir.
