CARIBOU — The first rehearsal of the Caribou Choral Society takes place on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. at the Mormon Church recreation room, located at 67 Paris Snow Drive in Caribou. All county and Canadian singers from ages 16 and up are encouraged to attend the rehearsal to join the seasonal chorus.
The choral group sings advanced four-part music of all styles from classical and sacred, to traditional and popular Christmas songs. No auditions are required. To help defray the cost of new sheet music, dues are $12 per season.
Concert dates are scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 8 in Madawaska, and on Friday, Dec. 13 and Saturday, Dec. 14 in Presque Isle and Caribou.
