The Caribou Middle School girls’ soccer team played three times and recorded a win while losing two others.
Last Wednesday, Houlton handed Caribou a 1-0 defeat. Midfielders Willow Whitten and Gabrielle Marquis and defenders Meagan Dube and Sydney Thompson were key performers for CMS in the loss.
Presque Isle Blue blanked Caribou Friday, despite being outshot by an 18-3 margin. Abbie Caron, Kimmy Susi, Amber Moir, Emily Adler and Olivia Picard made contributions off the bench for coach Mark Shea’s squad.
The Vikes downed VRMS of Fort Kent Saturday, 4-2, with Zoe Gerakaris scoring two goals and JoJo Fields and Hope Shea netting the others. Searra Herbert and Shea had assists and Elsie Patton and Madison Stratton were Caribou’s defensive stalwarts.
