LIMESTONE & FORT FAIRFIELD – Theresa M. (Begin) Morgan, 79, wife of the late Joseph Begin and the late Emmett J. Morgan, passed away Wednesday evening, September 25, 2013, at a Bangor healthcare facility following a brief illness. She was born April 7, 1934, in Chicopee, MA, the daughter of Dorille and Bella (Lussier) Breault.
She attended Chicopee, MA schools and was married to Joseph Begin in 1953. Following his death in 1963, she was married to Emmett Morgan in 1965 and had been a resident of the Caswell-Limestone area for many years, residing in Fort Fairfield for the past several years. Theresa enjoyed scratch tickets and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Theresa was predeceased by one son, Neil Begin in 2010; and a great-grandson, Camden King in 2013. She is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Janice Begin of Florida, Patrick and Hope Morgan, Brian and Rhonda Morgan, all of Caswell, Dennis and Lisa Morgan of Windsor, CT, Paul and Ashley Morgan of Fort Fairfield; five daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Will Lopez of Windsor Locks, CT, Donna and Steve Dionne of Van Buren, Ann and Paul Parady of Fort Fairfield, Nancy and Rudy Martin of Caswell, Theresa Bruce of Grandville, NY; two sisters, Ann LaPierre of Springfield, MA, and Pauline Bauer of Chicopee Falls, MA. She also leaves behind her late son Neil’s companion of many years, Sandy Parent of Van Buren; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends called Saturday, September 28, 2013, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield, where the funeral service was conducted at 1 p.m. with Father Raymond Morency officiating. Interment followed at the Union Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments was held after the interment at the VFW Paul Lockhart Post Number 6187, Presque Isle Street, Fort Fairfield.
