ASHLAND – Florence A. Trusty, 75, beloved wife of George W. Trusty, died May 14, 2009, at a Caribou health care facility. She was born in Grand Isle, Dec. 16, 1933, the daughter of Albert and Rose-Anne (Lavigne) Dionne. Mrs. Trusty was employed as a school teacher for many years.
She is survived by one son, Ryan Trusty and his wife Alex of Portland; three daughters, Georgette Trusty of Bangor, Michelle Bowers of Presque Isle and Yvonne Edwards of Naples; four brothers, Omer Dionne and Leo Dionne, both of Grand Isle, Rev. Victor Dionne of Chateauguay, Quebec, and Albert Dionne, Jr. of Caribou; one sister, Cecile MacKenzie of Dartmouth, NS; 10 grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, May 18 at the St. Mark Catholic Church, Ashland. Interment will be at a later date in the parish cemetery.
