BANGOR and CARIBOU – Jerry P. Thibodeau, 72, died October 23, 2013, at home in Bangor. He was born in Caribou, December 10, 1940, the son of Percy and Bernice (Levesque) Thibodeau.
He was employed at Bean and Conquest and Motor Truck and Trailer for many years. When retired, he enjoyed spending time at camp in the North Maine Woods with family.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janice; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jayne and Rick McEwen of Brewer and Jan Marie Thibodeau of Shrewsbury, MA; brother-in-law and wife, John and Natalie King of Woodland; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and his twin brother, Gary.
Funeral services were held at Evergreen Cemetery in Caribou on October 26, 2013, with the Rev. Otto Palmer officiating – he also officiated their wedding on January 27, 1962. Those who wish to contribute in memory of Jerry may do so through the animal shelter of their choice. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Eastern Maine and their neighbors.
