Caribou honors its fall athletes

    CARIBOU — Caribou High School held its fall sports awards night Nov. 14. Special recognition went to team MVP selections, letter sweater recipients and four-year letter winners in the same sport.
    Athletes named most valuable players in their respective sports were: Dayne Savage and Katie Pelletier, varsity golf; Matt Milliard, boys varsity soccer; Sarah Doak, girls varsity soccer; Lucas Kinney, boys varsity cross country; Mitchell St. Peter, boys JV cross country; Nerissa Larrabee, girls varsity cross country; Julia Page, girls JV cross country; Paul Hanson, boys JV soccer; and Simone Michaud, girls JV soccer.

    Letter sweaters, for accumulating seven varsity letters during their high school careers, went to Tyler Strid, Delaney Williams, Connor Thibeault, Cody Herbert and Doak.
    Three athletes earned jackets for accumulating four letters in one sport during their careers.The recipients were Thibeault, Milliard and Breen Blackstone.
    Coach Andrew Kirby presented letters to the following members of the girls JV soccer team: Julia Harris, Mollie Cummings, Kara Madore, Kendra Furber, Jensen Jones, Raylee Shaw, Heather LaMothe, Shania Bell, Kerrigan Manter, Alyssa Saucier, Danica Walker, Marisa Espinosa, Maggie Cyr, Irene Thibodeau, Simone Michaud, Rachel Soucy and manager Connor Spencer.
    Coach Todd Albert presented awards to the following members of the girls varsity soccer team: certificate: Kerrigan Manter; letters: Maddie Doucette, Megan Thornton, Molly Adams, Jenna Boucher, Sara Boyer, Hailey Caron, Maddy Staples, Madison Doody, Emma Jandreau, Emilee Susi, Bria Judd and manager Mariesa Sarmiento; plaques: Eileen Patton, Morgan Outing, Erin Patton and Sammy Camy; and trophies: Sarah Doak, Clara Collins and Delaney Williams.
    Coach Shawn Savage presented awards to the following members of the varsity golf team: certificate: Michael Smith; letter: Connor Plourde; plaques: Dayne Savage, Donovan Savage, Tyler Dombroski, Justin Ouellette, Jordan Bevins and Ricky Sheldon; trophy: Katie Pelletier; and jacket: Connor Thibeault.
    Coach Keegan Wakana presented letters to the following members of the boys JV soccer team: Carson Doody, Ben Ezzy, Matthew Carson, Mason Huck, Corey Moir, Dominick Judd, Dylan Conroy, Richard Newland, Cole Jackson, Dylan LaMothe and Paul Hanson.
