The Penobscot Valley Conference has announced its all-conference teams for the fall sports season, and several Caribou athletes are included.
Dayne Savage of Caribou made the Class B boys’ all-conference squad in golf. Representing other league schools were Colby Snell of Foxcroft Academy, Liam Porter and Tyler Thayer, both of Hermon; Joe Archambault and Colby Kohn, both of John Bapst; Mike Boone and Josh Gordon, both of Presque Isle; Kyle Lamson of Mount Desert Island and Cole Daniel of Old Town.
Katie Pelletier of Caribou earned a berth on the girls’ all-conference team and was joined by Sydnie Howard of Bucksport, Jenna Hallett of Presque Isle, Tori Jordan of Mattanawcook Academy and Rica Warren of Searsport.
The Class B girls’ soccer all-conference teams were also announced. Making the first team were the Vikings’ Sarah Doak and Bria Judd. Others selected were Taylor Williams of Presque Isle, Emily Berry and Kaiti Kinney, both of Ellsworth; Kaitlin Saulter, Claire Peterson and Maddie Page, all of Hermon; Opal Curless and Hannah Shaw, both of MDI; and Brittany Cousins of Old Town.
Delaney Williams and Maddie Doucette, both of Caribou, made the girls’ second team. They were joined by Hannah Graham of Presque Isle, Nicole Robichaud, Karah Hussey and Lauren Martin, all of Old Town; Katey Curtis of Ellsworth, Shelby O’Neil of MDI, Maegan True of John Bapst and Mollie Roy and Amanda Allen, both of Hermon.

Todd Albert of Caribou was the choice for coach of the year and Berry was selected as player of the year.
On the boys’ side, first-team choices included Kameron Manter, Matt Milliard and Breen Blackstone, all of Caribou. Others on the first team are Steven Mahon, Jack Weeks, Ben Haslam and Jeff Weeks, all of Ellsworth; Ben Nickerson and Devin Schinhofen, both of Presque Isle; Garvey Melmed of Old Town and Justin Gagnon of John Bapst.
Caribou’s Cody Herbert and Michael Hunter made the second team along with Cody Lyford, Ansu Morrow and Tyler Seeley, all of Presque Isle; Brian Dunn and C.J. Moody, both of Old Town; Angus Ferguson of John Bapst, Ryan Bender of MDI and Timothy Verrill and Jacob Applebee, both of Hermon.
Milliard shared player of the year honors with Nickerson. Mark Graffam of Old Town was voted coach of the year.
Representing Caribou on the senior all-academic soccer team are Milliard, Herbert, Manter, Adam Collins, Clara Collins, Samantha Camy and Williams.
In cross country, the girls’ large school second team included Caribou runner Nerissa Larrabee. Making it onto the first team were MDI’s Lydia Dacorte, Caroline Driscoll, Isabel Erickson, Waylon Henggeler and Maggie Painter, along with Amanda Boyd of John Bapst and Aleta Looker of Ellsworth.
Other second-teamers were Kaitlin Berube of Hermon, Jessica Cole of John Bapst, Emily Colligan of Presque Isle and Olivia Erickson, Emma Strong and Erin White, all of MDI.
The Vikes’ Lucas Kinney made the boys’ large school second team. The first team consisted of Brayden Beardsley, Dan Curts, Cooper Holmes, Frank King and Robert Looker, all of Ellsworth; Jordan Harris of MDI and Connor Wagner of John Bapst.
The remainder of the second team included Austin Comeau of Old Town, Samuel Southwick and Matt Spear, both of John Bapst; and Dustin Drabek, Trevor Levesque and Saul Nunez, all of Presque Isle.
Caribou runners on the PVC senior all-academic team are Keith Draper, Sirena Cyr and Taylor Hartley.
