Ladner, Abigail K., 19, November 15, 2013. A visiting hour will be held from 2-3 p.m. on November 22 at the Celebration Center, Fort Farifield, followed by the funeral at 3 p.m.
FORT FAIRFIELD – Abigail Kate Ladner, 19, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013, at Eastern Maine Medical Center, from injuries sustained during an automobile accident that occurred on October 27, 2013.
She is survived by her parents, Troy and Stacy Ladner and Saré and Scott Giberson of Fort Fairfield; grandparents, Connie “Nana” and Bob Jarvis, Arthur and Candy Ladner, Kathe Kyle and Brian Walls, Brenda and Melvin Kennard, Howard Giberson and special friend, Mary Whitmore, and Gary Helstrom; four brothers and sisters, Colby Giberson, Jayden Ladner, Marissa Giberson and Andon Ladner. She is predeceased by her uncle Kevin Helstrom. Surviving uncles are Artie and Andrew Ladner and Eric Giberson. Special aunts are Debbie MacDougal, Shirley Boulier, Karla Kyle and Kate Grindel. Special cousins are Sydney and Jesse Helstrom, Caleb Seeley and Jayden Grindel Dixon. She also has several aunts, uncles and cousins in Louisiana. Abby had many, many friends but a few that were especially dear to her were Jenice and Kennedy Jarvis, Danielle Tracy, Alyssa Murchison, Brayden McDougal and Kasey Brewer.
Abby will be remembered as a beautiful and caring person who enjoyed spending most of her time with her family and friends. She enjoyed participating in local pageants and was Ms. Fort Fairfield 2011 and reigning Ms. Northern Maine. She loved going to movies, attending concerts, listening to country music, traveling and loved animals, especially Benson, her cat. She was a 2012 graduate of Fort Fairfield High School and was in her second years of college at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. She was employed by Ruby Tuesday and Olympia Sports in the Aroostook Center Mall.
Friends may call Friday November 22, 2013, from 2-3 p.m. at the Celebration Center, 170 Houlton Road, Fort Fairfield, where a celebration of Abby’s life will be conducted at 3 p.m. with the Rev.
