Colleen DuPlissie of the Maine Dance Academy displays the large pile of food collected by her students for Catholic Charities. For the past 10 years the dancers have gathered donations, and this year strove to make their gift even larger in celebration of the academy’s 20th anniversary. Their hard work paid off with a grand total of 937 pounds of food for those in need. Academy representatives delivered the contribution to Catholic Charities just before Thanksgiving.
