KNOXVILLE, TN – Mr. Gerald “Jerry” Cote, 66, passed away January 24, 2014, at a Knoxville, TN health care facility. He was born January 25, 1947, in Biddeford, Maine, the son of Laurier Sr. and Theresa (Cantera) Cote.
He retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service and from DFAS Limestone. Jerry was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed watching the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics. Jerry will be remembered as a very dedicated and loving father, grandfather, and friend.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Laurier Cote, Sr. and one brother, Laurier Cote, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Robin of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Desirae and Michael Rickman of Ocala, Florida; son, Matthew Cote, and his girlfriend, Ariel Martin-Hunt of Buxton, Maine; stepson, Zach Parrott of Knoxville; two grand-daughters, Emma and Maya Rickman of Ocala, Florida; mother, Theresa Cote of Biddeford; five sisters and brother-in-law, Diane Wong and husband George Wong, Diana Kane, Beatrice Cote, Rachel Cote, Claudette Cote, all of Biddeford; one brother and sister-in-law, Lucien Cote and Grace Cote of Biddeford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial services will be held this spring in Biddeford.
