Mittens, hats donated to ACAP youths

CARIBOU — Youths at the ACAP daycare facility received a special delivery on January 15 in the form of 76 hats, 307 mittens and gloves, and six scarves.
The winter apparel was donated to the youths through a hat and mitten drive coordinated through Gagnon’s Auto Sales of Caribou between Nov. 20 – Dec. 21.
It was the second successful year of the drive, and was assisted by the Family Dollar as well as tremendous support from the greater community.

It’s a lovely hat, but little Victoria Gallagher was skeptical that it was quite her size. Victoria’s shown here with a smiling Brenda Hall.

There were all sorts of hats and winter apparel donated to the ACAP daycare facility on Jan. 15, and Jazmine Gallagher was one daycare attendee who thoughtfully tried out a different type of chapeau.
