    STOCKHOLM – Vivian E. Anderson, 88, passed away Friday morning, January 31, 2014, at Borderview in Van Buren. She was born April 25, 1925, in Stockholm, the youngest child of John and Alma (Peterson) Anderson.
    Born with Cerebral Palsy, Vivian lived a full life on the family homestead in Stockholm. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed a good joke or story. You could count on her being up-to-date on all the happenings in town.
    Vivian was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, WELCA and the Eucmenical Bible Study group. She was also a member of the Stockholm Historical Society.
    Vivian was predeceased by her sister, Astrid Sandstrom; and her brothers, Clarence, Frederick, Fernald, Elwood, Francis and Warren.
    She is survived by many nieces and nephews and some very special lifelong friends, Lois Stone, Mim McCaig, Vivian Merritt and Shirley Sjostedt.
    The family expresses thanks to Jeannette Peterson and Carol Searles and the staff at Borderview Rehab and Living Center for the special loving care given to Vivian.
    A Celebration of Vivian’s life will be held at a later date at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Stockholm. Donations may be made in her memory to the Trinity Lutheran Church or the Stockholm Historical Society.
