It was quite a day for the Deprey siblings Sunday as the brothers came away with state championships in the Maine Red Claws/Maine Recreation and Parks Association Hotshot basketball program, held at the Portland Expo.
Parker, at left, came in first place in the 11-12 boys’ age division with a score of 137, 13 more than the runner-up. His younger brother, Sawyer, took the 9-10 boys’ category with a score of 135, also 13 more than the division runner-up. They are the sons of Ryan and Amy Deprey of Caribou.
