Drama & Bullying

The definition of bullying is a person who uses strength or power to harm or intimidate those who are weaker. Well, I went to Caribou Middle School, and then I came here to Caswell. I was really excited, until a problem happened, then I told, and the person didn’t do it again.

There is a lot of drama in our school, but drama is everywhere. We are trying to avoid it, but we can’t. So now we are going to try and stop it. That will be really hard because there are a lot of people who like it. Some people like our topic and like that we are trying to stop it, but others don’t. We should all get along and be kind to one another, but some people have mood swings and can’t control what they say or realize what they’ve started.
My name is Tavia Akerson, and I have been bullied a lot. Some things people have done to me are: Called me names; told the teacher that I did something when I didn’t; and they also made me do their homework. I have not let anyone else get bullied, and I think that it should stop right away. We only live once, and we should treat others the way we want to be treated. Some people, when they are bullied, they fight back, but that just starts more drama and makes it harder to stop. Trust me, I know. When I was bullied I thought the right thing to do was to fight back, but it’s not. So if you’re a kid don’t fight back. Tell a teacher or somebody if someone or even you is getting bullied. Do the right thing.
My name is Abby Moore, and I was bullied because I had to wear a patch over my eye. One of my friends from Caribou stood up for me. That was a really nice feeling. We know what it feels like to be bullied and that isn’t the best feeling.
Some people don’t get treated the way they want to be treated, and that’s what causes drama. People get bullied because of the drama. Drama isn’t the best thing because it causes bad things to happen. We should all know from experience. I have seen other people being bullied because of all the drama. My friend was bullied when she first came to this school. A lot of people were mean to her. Some of my other friends didn’t think it was right to be bullying her. They started to stick up for her. She and a couple of her new friends started to make a plan. They made up a day for when she first came to this school when they would celebrate the day she came here. That’s why we want to stop the bullying here at Caswell School along with all the drama. We want to make it so everybody can be friends in this school.
